Talent Development Programs
Futuro Leaders
Current Latinx college students can take advantage of the LatiNext Fellowship which gives access to various career connections and development. This competitive Fellowship offers exceptional identity and asset-based professional development to Michigan Latinx college talent. This two-semester-long leadership experience will strengthen your power skills through hands-on experiences that enhance leadership, expand your network, and ultimately produce top Latinx professionals!
Explorando Careers
Explorando Careers: Professional Development Coaching is a career coaching program for Latinx college students to better understand their strengths, develop a high-quality resume, prepare for interviews and enhance their confidence in seeking job opportunities. Coaching sessions are tailored to meet the needs of students and are designed for short-term assistance.
Leaderes
LEADeres is a 6-month professional development program designed to support Latinx professionals in their leadership journeys. Participants complete 5 workshops and a capstone project to grow in areas related to cultural intelligence, community engagement, and leadership development.
Applications open in June with final selection in August. The program runs October-March. Cost is $1,000, limited scholarships are available.
Community Events
Community Events aim to connect emerging Latino talent (college students) and current Latino talent (currently employed Latino Leaders). ¡Conéctate! is a quarterly mixer featuring a panel discussion highlighting Latino leadership stories and experiences, networking, and community building to advance and retain Latino talent in the region.
